read the post it said mine drives on 87 I can hit the 5's but NOT 5.50's and I put 112 in it when I race I can't spray my car on pump gas. well I could but there will not be much left. I was not trying to say I can run in the 5's on pump gas just that I do drive it every day on pump gas. and it can go 5's on race fuel and n.o.s. sorry if I didn't put it clear.

Buffy, BigBlackSnatch, and Maxi, are like hemorrhoids you can't get rid of them lol. But at least Buffy is very smart on tech and Maxi is funny, and Snatch is good arguing exercise.

And wreck and his car are like paperweights. They're heavy and pretty much just sit in one place doing nothing.

Wow...just think how we'd talk if we didn't all like each other!

I'll just tell you about a friend of mine. His truck is all steel, with the exception of a cowl hood, and full interior. It's an 82 C-10 with a 406 in it, not really a wild motor, you can drive it anywhere, it still has power brakes, heater all the nice stuff and 5 years ago it ran 7.90's on motor on a 26X9 slick. This truck is a little over 4000lbs. I think total investment he has about 6k in the truck. Is that spending a lot of money to make go fast, put that in a 3000lb car with a little spray on it and see what it runs.

Years ago you could build a Chevy cheaper than a Ford but today that statement is bogus. There both about the same now. Mopars are the highest by far to build ask Darrell, he will tell ya.

You think mopar's are high, have you ever priced a rebuild kit for a pontiac 455? That's why car is getting chevy stuff, it's alot cheaper and easier to find. I would love nothing more than to stuff a big poncho motor in my car and watch it twist from all the torque, but that's way out of my budget.
