You would think a blown, tubbed, big block, 4 link car with a clutchless manual trans would run better than a 5.50 lol but we are talking about a Chevy lol.

Well, it is a street car, not a full on tube chassis race car, But i guess since it didnt have 28X10.50's on it that makes it slow.

mine is a street car. lets see him go to the gas pump and put some 87 oct. in it. or drive it from atl. to you. my street car is a d/d and I'm able to hit the 5's higher than a 5.50 but mine still has full int. and runs on pump gas and only on a 28-10.50.
now don't get me wrong it is a sweet ride but just goes to show you got to spend a ass load of money to get a chevy where a ford alread is. lol

You must have one hell of a low compression motor to run 87. So it takes a lot of money to go fast in a chevy huh? IS that why i see so many mustangs with chevy motors in them?

yes because the chevy cars are so damn heavy both of ours are below 3000lbs
